Vet Surgery
At the Veterinary Centre we provide vet treatment for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, birds tortoises and many other pets.
Some of which may need Surgery
Surgery is performed in the dedicated operating theatre, which was purpose built.
This sterile area containing modern veterinary equipment to deliver anaesthesia to the safest standards.
The surgical procedures we perform range from routine neutering operations to complicated soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
The theatre is monitored regularly for environmental gas contamination, and we are pleased that our gas scavenging reduces the gas emitted to one tenth of the permitted level.
We can also Ultrasound your pet to check for any condition from Pregnancy to Neoplasms.
Also a 3.5mm endoscope allso us to check ‘other avenues’
We have just installed a Digital Xray System , allowing us to see the image in 40 seconds. We believe we are the first practice in North Birmingham to have such a state of the art diagnostic tool .
